When you have roofing damage on your home from a storm. People you don't know start knocking on your door and wanting to inspect your roof for damage. I found someone whom I could trust; Why because of how long they have been helping local Houstonians. When speaking with their professional staff you get a sense of pride that they have in what they do. Not to overlook their knowledge of insurance, options of materials to use and realistic expectations. I felt that they looked at my roof as their own and not just interested in making money off my claim with my insurance.

Highly recommend Battalion Roofing and Stephen Lawlis! We obtained 3 bids, Battalion's bid was a competitive price and provided a quality product. Stephen and his crew were professional, honest, easy to schedule and finished in 1 day. Also, did an exceptional job cleaning up afterwards! Did not leave 1 nail or piece of debris in our yard. Owning a 40+ year old house, we have dealt with a lot of contractors through the years - Stephen Lawlis with Battalion Roofing is one of the best ever!

My experience with this company and Stephen was great! He came out quickly and inspected the roof. Although the problem turned out to be minor, he took the time to explain everything to me and ensure I understood. He was always on time and very kind. Really excellent service - I've already referred a friend and I know I'll be back when it's time to replace the roof.

This is such an awesome roofing company. I have used them twice now for minor repairs and both times they have been to my house within 24 hours and completed the work immediately at minimal cost. I plan to use them when I need a new roof in a few years!

I had my roof and gutters replaced. Stephen was upfront from the quote all the way to the end. Very responsive to questions and when it comes down to scheduling. I think they deliver a great value and service. Stephen was there to help kick off the job and checked it when it's completed. He was involved throughout the whole process. I contacted Battalion roofing after Hurricane Harvey. Stephen came out right away, gave us a fair estimate, and was incredibly helpful through the whole process. I knew nothing about insurance claims. He walked me through what I had to do and worked with TWIA to get me MORE than they originally though we should get. The roof was done beautifully in one day. The crew was polite, efficient, and hard working. When they left the place was cleaned completely.

Sunday afternoon I noticed that a wind-blown tree branch had rubbed a hole through my roof. 100% chance of rain on Monday. I called Battalion Monday morning at 7:30am, left a message, and Stephen called me back before 8am. He said he would meet me at my house in 15 minutes, and he did. He made a call and arranged for his worker to come by at noon that day.
At 11am that morning, I got a call from Stephen that the worker and he were able to come back earlier than expected, and the repair already been completed.
Cannot ask for better service than that. Highly recommend.

Stephen is honest and trustworthy. After hail hit our neighborhood recently, I asked one of the roofers who was inspecting my neighbors' home to take a look at my roof. He insisted it was a total loss and needed to be replaced right away.
When Stephen at Battalion took a look, he gave a more measured, reasonable response, saying that there are signs of hail damage, but they aren't that severe, and I could stand to wait a year or two if I wanted to deal with it. I've chosen not to replace the roof for now — but if/when I do in the future, Battalion will be the first place I call because I appreciate their honesty.

His crew showed up and did an absolutely incredible job. Stephen oversaw the whole process to insure quality control. After the job was done the area was clean and the roof looked amazing. Battalion came out to look at our roof after Harvey as we had some minor leaks. They were very professional and recommended that we did not need to replace our roof for several more years. The previous roofing firm that had visited was ready to replace our roof in full so I appreciate this company who does what is best for their customers. From the first contact with Stephen of Battalion roofing it has been a great experience. He was very prompt to respond and arranged to come see the job the next day. He gave a very well prepared detailed quote the following day and was very competitive with his pricing. His team came out on the Saturday morning to replace the gutters on the house and install on the sides of the house where there was none previously. Steve even came to ensure everything was completed satisfactory... and it definitely was.
